I'm so stunned I can't even write properly right now. After all of the work within community and orgs like @mpowerchange @freedom2thrive and @instabaji , the tireless hours put in by @soapia and @bronxdefenders and the NYU Immigration clinic, @freeousman has been granted bond.

We shared his story and his plight on September 30th to the world and Sophia, Alina Das, and the rest of the legal and advocacy team have fought tirelessly since, getting local politicians and over 10K signatures to show up to help bring Ousman back to the Bronx. I can't believe almost a year later that day is finally in sight, and he has a chance to be reunited with his wife and daughter. Alhamdulillah. I can't stop tearing up. Us showing up for each other is all we got. #FreeOusman✨

Due to tremendous advocacy in federal court by NYU Immigrant Rights Clinic, Ousman is scheduled for a NEW bond hearing this Monday, 9/28!!

✍️ Please sign the petition to let the judge know: #FreeOusman mpowerchange.org/Ousman.

This *will* be submitted into evidence so the more community signatures the better! Let’s get our boy back home to the Bronx, inshallah.✨
